about me

Hi!

My name is Lucy Frost-Helms, or, as I sign in on the attendance sheet at my day job, Lucy F-H (thus F-H editing).

At my day job, I assist adults with a serious mental illness on their path to recovery and network extensively with Chattanooga community partners to assist them in any way I can. I have an enormous heart and care deeply about the excellent people in my life.

However, like any person, I also love other things, such as editing (and honey buns).

I have years of editing and writing experience, both professional and personal. I have always loved to write and edit, and was able to do both of those things for two separate publications, which allowed me to develop professionally as an editor.

Now, as I meander along my post-grad path, I have found myself back in the world of editing, and for that I am truly happy.

F-H editing was born in 2026 as I attempt the lifestyle of working for myself, and I hope that I can help you with your next story, novel, essay, or anything else that has words listed as the #1 ingredient.

Here’s to you,

Lucy F-H

Here’s me and my dad who is also an editor!
